You have to outsmart, attack, and evade these monsters to complete the game. We have mentioned the monsters from Amnesia: The Bunker and ranked them on their scariness down below.

3. The Rats

The Rats from Amnesia The Bunker

The rats in Amnesia: The Bunker look like the devil’s reincarnation on earth, in the form of rats. Not that rats were any prettier before in their natural avatar, but these supersized creepers are going to forever change how you look at the movie Ratatouille ever again. These rats are not dangerous at all, but their scintillating red eyes appearing out of nowhere could shake you for a second or so until their tiny shapes come to light. Unlike normal rats, these are surprisingly slower and more confident, which makes their presence feel more ominous & intimidating, honestly.

They make a gut-sickening slurping sound even when they move. These rats are the vultures of the bunkers, as they gather around a corpse and feed on it as if a buffet just opened. You can clearly see the veins on their infected bodies, which makes them look like a steroid junkie rat who has gone rabid. The rats in Amnesia: The Bunker are the least scary but the most “Eww” inducing ones out of all the monsters.

2. The Unknown Person

The Unknown Person from Amnesia The Bunker

What you can’t see is what you can’t fear, but imagine if it begins speaking and that too, with a depressingly poetic flavor; that’s exactly what happens with the invisible man in Amnesia: The Bunker. The invisible man keeps blabbering annihilistic nonsense in almost poetic phrases, like a drunk man bellowing in frustration for not getting his daily dose of booze that day. His voice has a teaseful, villainous, arrogant, and snake-like hissing quality to it, that will send shivers down your spine. The invisible man’s shadow disappears into a cloud of dust as you get closer; it almost feels as if you are playing hide & seek with death itself.

Before taking on the shape of a discernible physical entity, he will play with your psyche through pure anticipation, and instill a suicidal sense of dread into the darkest crevices of your heart. He even carries a shotgun, so the chances of you being blown into pieces and painted on the floor like abstract art, increase significantly. You’re going to be intensely terrified like a prisoner of war who’s escaping his captors while encountering the invisible man. In simple words, you’re going to feel as if you’re wounded and trying to escape, and you suddenly hear “I’m gonna get you”.

1. The Beast

The Beast Monster from Amnesia The Bunker

The Beast is a burrowing monstrosity that looks like a creepy amalgamation of a rat and a mole that has exceptionally large claws and distorted teeth. He is a life-threatening, heart-palpitating, and bladder-weakening force of nature to be reckoned with, present in the already claustrophobic World War 1 bunkers of the game. He looks as creepy & lackluster as Peter Pettigrew from Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. The feral, animalistic, and spine-chilling visual of this monster will make you die of terror first, long before he devours you like a sumptuous delicacy. The Beast looks like a homeless beggar addicted to drugs, who sees you as the last resort for fulfilling his daily nutrition limit.

Hearing the crunching sound of the beast biting into your skull can work as nightmare fuel for gamers. He crawls out of burrows, grabs and toys with you before fulfilling his daily carb limit. He growls with rage in front of you, and it feels like he’s saying, “Any last wishes?” to you. Without any doubt, the Beast is the scariest monster in Amnesia: The Bunker.
