Coagulation Station Review: A Hellish Work Week in Hell

Coagulation Station Review: A Typical Work Week in Hell

In Coagulation Station, you take on the fictitious role of a “Clot Management Specialist” on an extraction rig, where your job is to make sure the product extraction quota is met daily without fail. You are working this lonely job to pay off your massive debts & save yourself from the life-threatening consequences. The Coagulation Station is not your usual horror game, as it builds tension through its hellish visuals & ominous atmosphere. We have reviewed the Coagulation Station & explained it through relatable points.

Coagulation Station Review

1. It is the perfect nightmare fuel for gamers

The rusted walls, floors and aesthetic of the Coagulation Station are creepy enough to send jitters down your spine, and just to make it even creepier, you have to work with blood. The blood-splattered canvas-type look of the station makes you suspicious of what’s about to happen – you are going to feel unsettled just after a few minutes of doing this nightmarish job of extracting blood from the mysterious reservoir down below. You are going to feel like you’re trapped inside the workstation of a ritualistic serial killer who doesn’t mind his place resembling the satanic red color scheme of Hell – it has an undeniably claustrophobic vibe to it.

2. It’s like working on your own graveyard

The supply management & extraction job of this weird product in the Coagulation Station is not as easy as pressing a few buttons or operating a machine. You have to repair the leaks, manually inspect and fix the troubles by putting your life at risk. In one instance, you are saying, “Let me go and fix this stupid problem,” and in the next instance, you are doing your prayers and seeking forgiveness for the sins you’ve committed. The working conditions at this extraction station are lethal, and you might not make it out alive – it’s like performing a rescue operation in Jurassic Park, where you might become the prey while trying to play the savior.

3. It’s an horrific satire on employee exploitation

The Coagulation Station is not just a game, it’s a social satire & commentary on the inhumane treatment & the masked slavery imposed on employees who have no idea how they’re being used as expandable lab rats. The game politely persuades you to complete essential tasks while masking the torturous nature of the job – it’s awfully similar to how Jack Gyllenhaal’s character from NightCrawler, i.e., Lou Bloom, sends his employee to a potential suicide scenario while Lou himself is watching from a distance. The game depicts cruelty & minion-like treatment of employees through the lens of dark humor.

The game beautifully portrays the message of “I own you” that most organizations send their employees through subliminal instructions & emails. If you’re an employee of some organization, then you will relate to the concept of “seniors giving an order that sounds like a polite suggestion” – the game highlights it cleverly.

4. It has disturbing & vomit-Inducing visuals

Coagulation Station isn’t stuffed with predictable jumpscares, unlike other games. It masterfully uses the ominous vibe, unnerving visuals and creepy atmosphere to build up an insufferable anxiety in the heart of the gamer. The filthy visuals of blood leaking or splattering all over might be puke-inducing for some gamers. The game looks like an underground version of Hell, thanks to the blood-red colored walls, rust-covered metal, lonely work conditions and the insanity-breaking dreadful atmosphere of the game. You are going to get creeped out by the assigned tasks in the game – it seems like the job description of a job in hell.

While playing Coagulation Station, you’re going to feel like a sacrificial goat that can do everything a human can.
