Massacre at the Mirage Game Characters

Massacre at the Mirage Game Characters

Massacre at the Mirage is primarily about a killer clown who singles out the employees of the Mirage and gives them a puke-inducing, heart-bursting, spine-shaking, and brutal death that includes dismembered body parts, blood-spilling, and a hellish, satanic, and sadistically demonstrative display of the victims for others to see. The killer clown is the protagonist, but a game needs interesting cast members to become memorable, and that’s where the characters of Massacre at the Mirage truly shine. These characters are quirky, imperfect, and naive but extremely entertaining to watch in whatever they do.

The characters of Massacre at the Mirage bring a joyous simplicity and relatability to the narrative. They are brimming with the joy of routine until the clown shows up at the Mirage Theatre.

Nika

Nika

Nika is an overworked employee of Mirage Theater who destresses herself by smoking cigarettes. She is a friendly, extroverted girl who loves to chit-chat with people and more so, with her best friend, Kelly, who is a fellow employee. Nika sounds exhausted throughout the game as she gets multiple tasks assigned in a thankless manner. She is confident and authoritative in her style of communication and brave enough to investigate the bloodbath created by the killer clown at the Mirage. She is a horror movie nerd and someone who appreciates the fine art of cinema.

Luna

Luna

Luna works the late-night shift at Dillon’s Deals, where she manages the car lot, completes her assigned tasks, assures the safety of the inhabitant cars by installing tire locks, and keeps the place running productively and efficiently. She’s a passionate gamer who loves to express her rage while eliminating the in-game bosses while playing handheld analog games. Luna is a big flirt and is infatuated with Crimson Ridge’s favorite RJ, aka Billy Knight. She is a sincere employee and a non-inquisitive person who just minds her own business. Despite being scared and all alone, Luna shakily walks and investigates the trouble caused by intruders at the car lot.

Billy

Billy

Billy works as a radio jockey and hosts a midnight horror radio show. He has a smooth and flamboyant voice, which has helped him charm and win over Luna’s heart. Billy has a delightfully masculine way about himself, which girls adore him for. He is a silver-tongued ladies’ man. His grandiose self-image and self-engrossed humor are an absolute treat to watch, for both gamers and otherwise. Billy is not the guy you want to introduce to your girlfriend, as he might charm her with his debonair sense of fashion and effortlessly suave personality. He’s a self-assured and confident man who everyone loves, especially the ladies.

Oscar

Oscar

Oscar works at the reception of the Falcon Fuel gas station and is an amiable person who is caring enough to have a lighthearted small talk but quite stern and direct as well when it comes to enforcing rules and regulations at the gas station. He doesn’t spook easily and is courageous enough to get into brawls with uncivilized people who disrupt his workflow. Oscar has a very sarcastic and unharmful way of expressing humor. He is interested in getting to know Nika, but in a very social and non-romantic manner. Oscar loves to place things in a very prim-and-proper manner, and he doesn’t like any mess or misplacement of things. He’s very particular about where everything should be put.

Ben

Ben

Ben is a mild-mannered employee at the Mirage Theater, and he works at the box office. He gets to interact with endearing, creepy, delightful, and all sorts of people dressed in eccentric, scary, and unique costumes while handing them their tickets. Despite having a great sense of humor, Ben finds it difficult to voice out his feelings and ask Nika out on a date. Ben doesn’t know that Nika knows that he has a crush on her. Despite being a little shy, Ben does an incredible job of interacting with people at the box office window. He is vigilant, and caring and wants to make sure that creeps don’t get inside the gates of Mirage Theatre.

Phil

Phil

Phil is a potbellied, middle-aged businessman who manages the Mirage Theater. He is always neck-deep in his work. Phil’s lonely cabin doesn’t get many visitors like Ben and Nika. He has a beautiful, yellow-eyed cat named Whiskers, who he loves dearly and talks to. Phil loves to reward himself with a sprinkled donut after a tiring day of work. His irritable bowel syndrome flares up from time to time, so he keeps his medication nearby. Phil lisps while talking, which adds an amusing and distinctive textural quality to his voice. He doesn’t beat around the bush and doesn’t indulge with his juniors on a personal level. Phil’s a true workhorse.

Kelly

Kelly

Kelly works as the service manager at Crimson Ridge’s 105.5 FM, The Toot. She works the late night shift and buzzes in people who visit the radio station at night. She is a high-spirited girl, a bookworm, and has incredibly geeky humor and the best-spoken vocabulary out of all the game characters. Kelly wears her heart on her sleeve and doesn’t have the best taste in men, as she flirts with every man, whether cool or creepy. She has a self-esteem issue that doesn’t let her have any standards when it comes to dating. In the game, Kelly even flirts with the killer clown for a brief moment.

Kelly wants to know everything about Nika’s love life, as she’s her best friend and love life confidante. Kelly’s geeky, outspoken, and friendly demeanor will make you wish for a genuine and caring friend like her.

Hobo

Hobo

Funnily enough, the name given to this homeless character is very self-introductory, aka, Hobo. Hobo is your typical booze-loving homeless man who goes from begging for alcohol money to straight-up cursing you in a few seconds if you refuse to give him beverage money. His coarse voice is an acoustic delight to hear, and his way of walking is extremely slow and a little funny. His only job in the game is to arrange money for his beloved booze, and he does it with a dedicated passion. He even asks the killer clown for booze money before meeting his terrible fate.

Eric

Eric

Eric handles the security and projection at the Mirage Theater. He talks with a very mellowed-down vibe and makes it quite evident that he has taken some infused brownies, which he describes as ‘high’ quality brownies; if you know, you know. His demeanor is a little too relaxed and casual for the security job that he does. Eric can be described as someone who doesn’t take things too seriously and prefers to live in a drug-induced trance rather than in the boring reality of life. He is the zoned-out guy you see in horror movies who gets slaughtered while being out of his senses.

Myles

Myles

Myles is a guy who just happens to be at the wrong place at the wrong time. He arrived at Falcon Fuel gas station with frantic energy as he had been holding his pee for quite some time before arriving at the gas station. He is pissed off during his conversation with Oscar, manages to find his way to the toilet, but gets paid a visit by the killer clown in the very same toilet. Myles has a very childish energy and enthused demeanor.
