Water Delivery Game Review: It Delivers A Stream Of Goosebumps Across Your Body

Water Delivery is a horror game where you play a truck driver who delivers water jugs to houses in a strange city. Your objective in the game is to get out safely from all the sinister events happening at your delivery locations and stop an illegal activity that is endangering innocent souls. The conventional concept of ‘characters getting into life-threatening situations for financial survival’ works out brilliantly in ‘Water Delivery’, and you can’t help but feel for the protagonist. The game takes all tried and tested routes of horror but still manages to add a refreshingly original & creepy feel to its gameplay. Here’s our review of the ‘Water Delivery’ game.

Water Delivery Game Review

1. Interesting characters that will spook you out

The characters in ‘Water Delivery’ look so sinister & eerily calm that you would get creeped out just by being in their vicinity. The “I don’t care attitude” & trance-like mental state of the characters make them look like lifeless pieces of chicken marinating in their misery. Each character looks and feels like a ticking time bomb whose shrapnel might injure you fatally if you don’t maintain a safe distance. You are going to feel an undeniable coldness in the air whenever you see the lifeless, robotic, awkwardly slow, and creepy faces of these characters. The pride of these characters in their obnoxious behavior is what makes them even more intriguing.

These characters look so surreal, almost like ancient pyramid statues shrouded in mystery who don’t want to be bothered by humans.

2. Chillingly breathtaking visuals that soothe you

The dim-lit aesthetic creates a proper scary feel that one expects from the likes of ‘The Conjuring’ or Insidious movies. Walking inside dark jungles while following the path where’s light coming from, and seeing vague shapes of humans getting clearer as you approach them is a visual extravaganza that unsettles you with its hauntingly gorgeous visuals. The visual of pitch darkness being illuminated by the gorgeous front and back lights of the truck with the backdrop of a setting sun is incredibly soothing, and it almost feels as if the scenery is giving a warm hug to your soul. Seeing the slow, relaxed visuals of leaving roads and scenery behind while driving creates an intensely therapeutic experience for the gamer.

Strangely enough, the visuals will soothe you down at times. ‘Water Delivery’ succeeds at delivering a visually stimulating experience.

3. Evil lurks near you

‘Water Delivery’ boasts a scary range of ghosts & evil creatures throughout its gameplay. You are going to witness some of the most distorted & inventively designed ghosts, and they are going to tease you with their creepy antics. The gameplay makes you feel as if you are in the presence of something sinister that wants to play with you in a teasing manner. Hallucinatory visuals are subtly but brilliantly used in the game to build anticipation & nerve-wracking intensity which makes you feel that there’s going to be a scream-out-loud jumpscare anytime soon. The petrifying visuals of satanic and evil acts in the gameplay are scary enough to make a grown adult cover their eyes during the gameplay.

4. It’s a creepfest in a cinematically good way

There are horrific displays of gore & gut-sickening visuals of cult worship that will make your blood curdle. Despite its pretty decent exploratory area, you’re going to feel a bit claustrophobic similar to how you felt while watching the ‘Saw’ and Wrong Turn movies. There are some mind-boggling and disturbing visuals that will reinvigorate your belief in the concept of cultish rituals and sacrifices. The anxiety-spiking sound design and nightmarishly rough game design of ‘Water Delivery’ are so spooky that you will start praying to God. You might want to clear out your poor karma before playing this terrifying game.

5. The pixelated visuals carry an old world charm

The 2-D-looking birds & foliage, the scattered textures of walls, and the imperfect old-school graphics in ‘Water Delivery’ carry an irresistible charm that most 90’s kids wouldn’t want to miss. If you love the unorthodox visuals of Minecraft, then you’re going to absolutely love the retro visual style this game delivers. Nothing’s smoothened or polished & you can also see the torn-apart pixels clearly. If you’re a fan of gritty and raw visuals, then you’re going to feel satisfied while playing this game.
